Jack point

The jack can only contact the 2 special

castles in the frame shown in the above

picture.

Remove the tire

1.  Keep the tire in the straight-ahead

position.

2. 

Switch off the ignition.

3.  Choose P for the automatic

transmission.

4. 

Keep passangers off the car.

5. 

If necessary, use block for the tire to

avoid the tire rooling or sliding.

6. 

Insert a slot between steel ring and

rim cover. Unscrew the clip carefully

to unload the round cover.

7. 

Please use SST to unscrew the clip.

8. 

Place the jack and ensure the entire

standing on the solide ground.

9. 

The jack must contact the jack point

vertically.

10.  Lift the vechile till the tire off the

ground.

11.  Unscrew the tire clip and then

unload the tire.

Tire Installation

1. 

Place the tire onto the axle. Screw

the clip deasil and ensure the tip

facing the tire.

2.  Lower the vechile and move the

jack.

3.  Wrench the nut by means of

diagonal tigntening mode..

4.  Press the round cover firmly with

hand-tight.

5.  Store the jack and brace the

malfunctional tire in the adverse

order.

6. 

Please go to a Chery Service Center

as possible to check the wheel nut

torque and the tire pressure.

Battery

Security Suggestion

Please follow the security

instruction strictly when moving the

battery.

Ÿ

The battery acid is extremely

corrosive. You should wear

protective gloves and eye protection.

Do not allow particles containing

battery acid or lead come into

contact with your skin or your

clothing. Do not tilt the battery , the

acid might leak through the

ventilation openings. If the acid

accidently splashes into your eyes,

rinse them thoroughly with clean

water for several minutes and consult

a physicain immediately. If the acid

splashes onto skin or clothes, use

alkali water(soap) to neutralize and

then wash with ample water, If the

acid is swallowed, send to the

hospital immediately,

Ensure that keep children well away

from batteries and battery acid.

Ÿ

A highly-explosive gas is generated

when the battery is charged.

Ÿ

Do not allow open flame, sparks and

smoking near battery. Avoid sparks

from electrical cables or electrical

equipment

.

Do not connect the

electrode.The short circuit of the

battery terminals will risk a personal

injury of the high-voltage sparks.

Ÿ

The electonic ignition system has

high voltage. Please do not touch

those parts when the motor is on or

engine is running.

Removal and installation

Follow the security

instructions during the removal or

instiallation.

Ÿ

Your car is equipped with the

acid-lead battery with 12 voltage and

65 amperate.

Ÿ

Battery must be replaced with the

same type but not other type. The

electric current and capacity must

keep the same with the used one or

accord with Chery. Please contact

Chery for the correct specification of

battery.

Ÿ

Disconnect the cable on the negative

terminal first,after you make sure

that ignition and all other electrical

system are tuned off.

Ÿ

Please carefully avoid metal tool

connecting the 2 terminals of battery

or positive ternimal and vehicle.

Ÿ

When installing the battery, connect

the positive terminal first and then

negative terminal.

Ÿ

After a new battery installed, driving

might be slightly abnormal earlier.

That is engine system coordinating

with the engine. Please ignore it.

The used battery contains acid

and lead. Do not dump it as daily litter.

Please send to prompt waste treatment

position.

Engine Starting
Procedures

Only battery of same voltage (12 volt.) can

be connected. Use connecting line with

unsulating clamp and cable of appropriate

measure. Please do not remove battery

from the electronic system.

Down-lead connection

1.  Park the vehicles promptly and

untouchable from each other.
