Chapter Ten   Seat Frame  

 

I. Front seat   

Disassembling and installing 

1.  Move the front seat forward. Remove 

the rear brake. Loosen the set bolt for   

the adjuster and remove the guide rail.   

 

 

 

2.  Loosen the nut and take out the   

locking bolt. 

3. Loosen the seat adjuster rod. Move   

the seat backward to disengage it from   

the guide rail.   

      4. Electricity lines for the seat safety belt 

      5. Guard board for the seat slide 

Installing procedures are in the   

reversed order. Tightening torque for 

the limit screw is 2.5±0.5N·m. Location of 

front right/left seat in the complete   

vehicle should enable space between the   

front seat and the rear seat to be 740±20mm.

II. Headrest   

Disassembling and installing   

   

  Draw the headrest upward until it   

reaches the side lever contact. Disassemble   

with screwdriver the fixing clamp between the   

headrest side lever and the guide groove on the   

rear side of the seat back.   

 

When installing, bear in mind the position of   

Spring clamp, mount it before inserting the headrest   

side lever. 

III. Rear seat   

Disassembling and installing. 

1.  Pull out the rear adjuster control   

rod and disengage the seat. Fold the rear   

seat forward.   

2.  Remove the protection lid between   

the cushion and the set bolts on the 

vehicle floor.   

 

3. Loosen the set screw between the 

Seat at the rear beam and the vehicle floor. 

Installing procedures are in the   

reversed order. Tightening torque for   

the screw of cushion assembly is 2.5±0.5mm.   

 

   IV. Dismountable rear seat  

Overall or partial disassembling and   

installing  

Pull upward the adjuster control rod of the   

rear seat until it is disengaged from the

front folded part of the seat. 

      Remove the protection lid of the 

set bolt between the seat and the   

car.  

      Loosen the set bolts on corresponding 

positions on the rear beam of the vehicle.   

      Installing procedures are in the 

reversed order.   

      V. Fixture on top of rear seat back 

Disassembling and installing   

Loosen the set bolt of the fixture 

piston pin 

      Installing procedures are in the

Chapter One: Axle and Suspension System 

 

Axles and suspension system ensure the normal running of vehicles by receiving the 

torque transferred through transmission system from the engine and making use of the 

traction on vehicle by road surface through the adhesion between driving wheels and 

the road surface. They also relieve the vehicle body from the impact and vibration 

from road surface by transferring and receiving all counterforces applied on wheels by 

road surface, thus ensuring the smoothness and stability of vehicle operation. 

 

Section One: Maintenance of Front Axle and Front Suspension 

 

I. Structure of Front Axle and Front Suspension 

Front suspension consists of subframe, antiroll bar and control arm, etc., as shown in 

the figure below.
