      In case of any faults with it (any faults being detected during inspection, which 

worsen its normal functions), note this and send it back to manufacturer with packing 

of a new unit through a spare part trader.

Chapter Nine      Inner Lining and Decoration   

 

I. Instrument panel   

Disassembling and installing   

A. Procedures within the engine housing 

1. Remove the battery negative pole.   

2. Remove the scraper on right side of the   

windscreen. Loosen the four clamps on bottom of   

the windscreen glass decorative board. Remove the 

box lid.   

 

 

3. Remove the two set screws on the   

instrument panel from the drip rail.   

 

 

 

 

B. Procedures within vehicle   

1.  Disassemble the steering wheel, pull the air 

bag upward and remove it (see section   

“Disassembling air bag”). Loosen the set   

nut between the steering wheel and the steering   

shaft.

2.  Disassemble the control and protection   

switch for the light on steering column.   

3. Take out the three radiator outlets by     

 

overcoming resistance of the fixing clamp.   

 

 

Remove the water glass bracket

lid and loosen the two fixing

screws on internal side.   

Note: Don’t damage the cover clamps. Remove   

the switch and lid on either side of the instrument 

panel. Remove lid of the radio cover and the air   

conditioning control cover.   

 

4.  Loosen the set screws of the instrument 

panel cover and remove the cover. 

5.  Take out the set screws of the 

instruments on the dash in the cab and disassemble   

the instrument panel. Remove the switch and bottom   

lid on left side of the steering wheel. Remove the   

bottom lid on left side of the tool box.

6.  Remove the plug. Loosen the set screws 

on the right surface of the instrument panel and the 

screws on the gap bottom on the left side of the   

tool box.   

      Remove the protection lid on lower right part of   

the instrument panel.   

 

 

7.  For a vehicle with molded bottom bracket,   

The dust leather sleeve on the gearshift lever should   

be removed and the set bolt between the   

instrument panel and the vehicle floor should be   

loosened, then remove the instrument panel.   

 

 

 

 

8.  Remove the plug. Loosen the set screw 

on the left surface of the instrument panel and the 

screws on the bottom of the bracket left side.   

Loosen the set screws of the control device.   

 

 

 

 

 

9.  Remove the instrument panel. Disengage   

the cable from the its clamps. Remove the   

necessary electrical components.
