After installing and adjusting, it must be assured that the glass can be lifted and

lowered stably and smoothly. No shaking, vibrating or shocking of glass is allowed.

Lifting-lowering period should be 3

Chapter Seven   External Accessories  

 

I. Fuel port lid                               

      When disassembling the fuel port lid, 

loosen the two set screws on vehicle   

body side.   

 

 

 

 

 

Installing procedures are in the reversed order. 

Maintain a dimension of (4±0.5)mm. Average   

error between the lid edge and the rear fender is   

±0.5mm so as not to affect vehicle appearance.   

 

II. External rear view mirror   

Disassembling and installing   

When disassembling the rear view mirror,   

disassemble the internal guard plate of   

the front door according to instructions. 

1.  Disassemble the inner quarter block   

of the rear view mirror.   

 

2.  Remove the three set screws between   

the rear view mirror and the internal plate 

of the front door. Pull out the plug for

the rear view mirror. Remove the rear view   

mirror.  

Installing procedures for rear view   

mirror are in the reversed order. Tightening 

torque for the bolt is 3±0.3N.m. 

 

 

 

III. Rear view mirror glass 

Disassembling and installing   

1.  Prize the top and bottom of the external   

rear view mirror with the disassembling 

tool for the rear view mirror glass to   

disengage it from the roll ball joint and 

the hook. Be careful not to damage the   

rear view mirror frame.   

    When fitting it, place the glass and 

the guide pin in place and only center of   

the glass can be pressed. Wear protection   

gloves.  

 

  IV. Radiator grill 

    Disassembling and installing   

When disassembling the radiator grill, first   

remove the four set bolts between its top and 

the front panel, then remove the radiator grill.   

    Installing procedures are in the reversed order.   

Tightening torque is 3.5±2N.m.

V. Inner guard board of the   

luggage compartment   

Disassembling and installing 

1.  Remove the eleven set bolts on   

outer frame of the inner guard plate 

of the rear lid. Then knock open the   

plastic clamp with the screwdriver.   

Remove the inner guard plate of the   

rear lid.   

 

 

2.  Loosen the set screw between the   

button and the molded decoration frame   

of the rear door. Remove the molded decoration. 

   

 

 

Installing procedures are in the   

reversed order. Remember the position of   

the rear door opening button.   

VI. Roof decorative strip 

Disassembling and installing   

      Begin prizing from the rear window glass 

with the plastic wedge and loosen the clip 

of drip rail with hands. Open the clips 

with the screwdriver and remove them. The   

clips can’t be reused.
