Chapter Six   Disassembling and Installing of Door

and Window Glass

I. Front door glass

Disassembling and installing

Before disassembling the front door

glass, first remove the front inner

guard board and remove the waterproof film

according to the instructions.

1.  Draw out the waterproof strips on internal

and external sides of the door and remove them from

inner rib of the central part of the door frame.

2.  Place the glass in the middle of the doorframe.

Loosen the fixing notch between the window and

the bracket of the glass lifter.

    While disassembling the glasses, maintain the

top of glass inclined outward.

    Installing procedures for the glasses are in the

reversed order of the above. Remember don’t

fasten the set screws before the glasses have

been installed well.

II. Rear door glass

Disassembling and installing

Before disassembling the rear door

glass, first remove the front inner

guard board and remove the waterproof

film according to the instructions.

1. Draw out the waterproof strips on internal

and external sides of the door and remove them from

inner rib of the central part of the door frame.

2.  Place the glass in the middle of the doorframe.

Loosen the fixing notch between the window and

the bracket of the glass lifter.

3.  While disassembling the glasses, maintain

the top of glass inclined outward.

    Installing procedures for the glasses are in the

reversed order. Remember don’t fasten

the set screws before the glasses have been

installed well.

III. Rear quarter glass

Disassembling and installing

    Remove the door guard board according to the

instructions before disassembling the rear quarter

glass.

1.  Take out the central pressed part between

internal side and external side of the door and

disassemble it from the inner rib on the central part

of the door frame.

2.  Loosen the set bolt between the central

guide way and the internal board of the door and

remove the central guide way.

3. Draw the quarter glass outward and

remove it.

The installing procedures are in the reversed

order.

IV. Front door glass lifter

Disassembling and installing

Before disassembling the front door

glass lifter, first remove the front inner

guard board and the waterproof film

according to the instructions.

1. Loosen the six set screws between

the glass lifter and the inner guard board of the

door.

    2. Pull down the plug of the lifter motor. Take out

the lifter motor from internal opening on the door.

Perform disassembling of glass lifter and disassembling

of the glass respectively.

    Installing procedures are in the reversed order of the

above. Tighten the set bolt or set nut for glass

lifter with a torque of M=9

1N.m. Installing dimension

of glass bracket is 105mm as shown in the figure:

After installing and adjusting, it must be assured that the glass can be lifted and

lowered stably and smoothly. No shaking, vibrating or shocking of glass is allowed.

Lifting-lowering period should be 3

±

1S.

V. Rear door glass lifter

  Disassembling and installing

Before disassembling the rear door glass lifter, first remove the front inner

guard board and the waterproof film according to the instructions.

1. Loosen the six set screws between the glass lifter and the inner guard board of

the door.

    2. Pull down the plug of the lifter motor. Take out the lifter motor from internal

opening on the door. Perform disassembling of glass lifter and disassembling

of the glass respectively.

    Installing procedures are in the reversed order. Tighten the set bolt or set nut for

glass lifter with a torque of M=9

1N.m. Installing dimension of glass bracket is

105mm as shown in the figure:
