Section Two: Installation of Wiper/Washer System 

 

1. Installing Wiper 

  Assemble wiper blade and swing bar; 

  Open engine hood; 

  Insert wiper connecting rod to make fixing hole and the welding nut on vehicle 

body concentric; 

  Fasten the connecting rod with three bolts and washers, tightening torque: 

9Nm; 

  Install downflow trough flapper of windshield, etc. (refer to vehicle body 

instruction); 

  Align wiper blade with the arrow stamped on windshield; fix swing bar in 

swing bar shaft and tighten fixing nut, meanwhile keep pressing wiper blade to 

avoid movement; 

  Fasten swing bar with two nuts, tightening torque: 16-19Nm, and then fit 

protective cover. 

 

2. Installing Washer System 

  Fix six cleaning fluid pipe fixing clips and one jecket; 

  Fix nozzles on engine hood; 

  Connect one end of cleaning fluid pipe with fluid tank, and fix cleaning fluid 

pipe in correct direction, then fix nozzle connector; 

  Lock cleaning fluid tank onto vehicle body properly, and tighten with one nut 

and washer.

Section Three: Troubleshooting

eliminate it if any.

at each point on motor 
winding with a multimeter 
to check for open circuit, 
and replace motor if any. 
(3) Check wiper switch and 
unloading relay at contact 
X, and replace the parts if 
abnormity is found. 

 

Wiper motor 

After ignition 
switch is turned 
on, wiper motor 
has no intermittent 
service when 
wiper switch is 
placed at

(1) Wiper
