(3) If wire connection is
normal, it is the wiper
intermitter fault.

Wiper motor

After ignition
switch is turned
on, wiper motor
has no low-speed
service when
wiper switch is
placed at
(low-speed
wiping) position.

(1) Wiper motor

low-speed open
circuit.

(2) 2/53m

intermitter relay
or wiper switch
fault.

(3) Wiper motor

low-speed
winding open
circuit.

(1) Check power supply
when ignition switch is ON.
(2) If power supply is
normal, check wiper switch.
(3) If wiper switch is
normal, check wiper
low-speed winding for open
circuit.
(4) Check green wire of
motor plug to see if it is
conducted. If yes, it is wiper
motor low-speed winding
open circuit; and if no, it is
low-speed open circuit.

Wiper motor

After ignition
switch is turned
on, wiper motor
has no high-speed
service when
wiper switch is
placed at
(high-speed
wiping) position.

(1) Wiper motor

high-speed open
circuit.

(2) Wiper switch
fault.
(3) Wiper motor

high-speed
winding open
circuit.

(1) Check power supply
when ignition switch is ON.
(2) If power supply is
normal, check wiper switch.
(3) If wiper switch is
normal, check wiper
low-speed winding for open
circuit.

Wiper motor

After ignition
switch is turned
on, wiper motor
has no short-term
service when
wiper switch is
placed at
(short-term
wiping) position.

(1) Wiper switch

fault.

(2) Poor
returning of
wiper switch.

(1) Low-speed, high-speed
wiping are all normal, but
no short-time wiping, this is
caused by poor switch
contact of short-term wiping
position. Replace the
switch.
(2) Make wiper switch
move smoothly: switch
automatically returns after
handle is released.

position contact, and
repalce the switch if poor
contact is found.
(2) If contact is normal,
check the autostop
positioning conducting strip
on back side of reducer gear
worm output shaft and the
three contacts on reducer
cover. If found of any
damage, replace it.

Washer motor

After ignition
switch is turned
on, wiper switch
is placed at
spraying position,
washer motor
does not work.

(1) Washer motor
power supply
open circuit.
(2) Ignition

switch fault.

(1) Check ignition switch.
(2) If ignition switch is
normal, check spraying
switch contact of wiper
switch, and repalce wiper
switch if poor contact or
damage is found.
(3) If spaying switch is
normal, check washer motor
power supply for open
circuit.
(4) If motor power circuit is
normal, replace washer
motor.

Washer and
wiper

After ignition
switch is turned
on, wiper switch
is placed at
spraying position,
washer works well
but wiper does not
work.

Wiper intermitter
damage.

Washer works but wiper
does not work, this is

Chapter Seven: Electric Window Riser

Section One: Introduction to Window Riser System

Chery A15 adopts electric wire window riser. The structure is shown in the figure

(Window-1).

Electric Widow Riser (Window-1)

Window rise or fall is controlled by both control buttons at driver's side and

independent switch located on each door. Power transfer route: motor → reducer→

wire reel → wire → glass support → glass rise or fall. Control module is installed

under rear left seat, as the figure (Window-2) shows.
