by turning it 90°

Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Make sure each opener cable is connected prop-

erly.

locks securely.

Windshield Wiper Arms/Windshield Wiper Linkage

Removal

CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the hood and body.

1. Remove the windshield wiper arms, then remove

the hood seal and cowl cover.

2. Remove the strut brace (see

3. Remove the control box cover, then remove the dash-

board upper center reinforcement.

then remove the windshield wiper linkage assembly.

5. Separate the windshield wiper linkage and wind-

shield wiper motor.

NOTE: When installing, align the alignment marks

on the link and windshield wiper linkage.

1. Remove the bolt, then pull out the washer filler.

3. Disconnect the washer tube and washer motor con-

nector.

4. Remove the bolt, then remove the washer reservoir.

Make sure the washer motor connector and

washer tube is connected properly.
Check the washer motor operation.

3. Disconnect the washer tube and windshield washer

motor connector.

4. Remove the bolt, then remove the washer reservoir

by sliding it forward.

5. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Make sure the windshield washer motor connec-

tor and washer tube is connected properly.
Check the windshield washer motor operation.
