Is there battery voltage? NO Repair open in the wire between and No. 20 ECU (PCM) (20 A) fuse. EVAP canister vent shut valve test. Check the EVAP canister vent 1. Disconnect the vacuum hose and connect a vacuum pump 2. Connect the PCM connector terminal F5 to the body ground 3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II). Does the valve hold vacuum? NO Check for an open in the wire 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the EVAP canister vent shut valve 2P connector. 3. Check for continuity between the EVAP canister vent shut No. 2 and body ground. Is there continuity? YES Check for an open in the wire (IG1 line): EVAP canister vent shut valve Replace the EVAP canister purge VACUUM PUMP/GAUGE, EVAP EVAP canister vent shut valve is Repair open in the wire between the EVAP canister vent shut Main Menu Table of Contents |
