(7) Pre-flight inspection:

(a) Carry out the pre-flight inspection (POH, Chapter 4).

(8) Instructions for continued airworthiness:

(a) Verify all airworthiness directives complied with.
(b) Verify all service letters, bulletins, and instructions complied with.

B. Return to service after long term storage (over 91 days)

(1) Parking:

(a) Remove all covers and adhesive tapes.
(b) Unmoor the aircraft.

(2) Aircraft exterior:

(a)  Remove the canopy cover.
(b)  Remove foils from exterior lights.
(c)  Clean the aircraft (Chapter 12-20).
(d)  Clean the canopy (Chapter 12-20).
(e)  Lubricate

aircraft

according

lubrication

schedule

(Chapter 12-20).

(3) Aircraft interior:

(a) Remove cover from the instrument panel.

(4) Electrical system:

(a) Check condition of batteries; reinstall the battery (Chapter 24-30)

and the ELT battery (Chapter 25-60).

(5) Fuel system:

(a) Fill the fuel tanks (Chapter 12-10).

(6) Landing gear

(a) Clean the brakes.

(7) Powerplant:

(a) Carry out the procedure for engine back to operation according

to the Operators Manual for Rotax Engine Type 912 Series
(Ref. No. OM-912), latest edition.

(8) Annual inspection:

(a) Carry out the annual inspection prior to flying the aircraft

(Chapter 05-20).

GENERAL

1. INTRODUCTION

Placards are used for identification and indication purposes. They show the function,
directional movements, position identifications, operating instructions, operating
limitations of systems and equipment.
Self-adhesive plastic foils are used for all placards except for the metal aircraft
manufacturer

Missing, or placards with poor readability must be replaced.

2. MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

A. Replacing damaged placards

(1) Removing old placard:

(a)  Heat the placard with a hot air gun if necessary.
(b)  Lift one corner of the placard.
(c)  Tear off the placard.

(2) Installation new placard:

(a) Clean the surface to remove residual adhesive and dirt

from the surface.

(b) Remove the protective backing from the new placard.
(c) Put the new placard in the correct position and ensure that the placard

is firmly adhered.
