Then grind the brake shoe lining on the disc until full contact is achieved. If the drum and brake shoe lining do not have full contact, use a brake shoe grinder or replace the Fig. 53: Checking Brake Disc And Parking Brake Shoe Lining b. After the inspection, wipe the chalk off of the inside surface of the disc and lining surface. REASSEMBLY HINT: Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side. The procedures listed below are for the LH side. 1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE ANCHOR BLOCK a. Install the anchor block with the 2 nuts. Torque: 86 N*m (877 kgf*cm, 63 ft.*lbf)
