REMOVE WATER BY-PASS PIPE ASSEMBLY 

a

Disconnect the 2 water hoses from the transmission oil cooler

Remove the 3 bolts and water by-pass pipe

DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE (for Bank 2) (See REMOVAL )

REMOVE NO. 2 AIR TUBE (for Bank 2) (See REMOVAL )

REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2) (See REMOVAL )

REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the fuel ratio sensor connector

Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector and 2 clamps

Remove the 2 bolts from the center exhaust pipe

Remove the 3 nuts, front exhaust pipe and 2 gaskets

REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR (for 4WD)

Remove the 2 bolts and heat insulator

REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) (See )

REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab Standard Deck) 

a

Disconnect the fuel ratio sensor connector   

b

Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector   

c

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts from the front No  3 exhaust pipe   

d

Remove the 3 nuts, front No  2 exhaust pipe and 2 gaskets

REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (except Regular Cab Standard Deck) 

a

Disconnect the fuel ratio sensor connector   

b

Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector   

c

Remove the 2 bolts from the center exhaust pipe   

d

Remove the 3 nuts, front No  2 exhaust pipe and 2 gaskets

INSTALLATION

INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

a

Place a new gasket on the cylinder head with the "L" mark facing the manifold side  

NOTE:

Be careful of the installation direction.
