NG: Go to step 4 OK: Go to Next Step 3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (F/PMP VSV RELAY - ECM) a. Remove the fuel pressure control valve relay (F/PMP VSV) from the engine room relay block. b. Disconnect the ECM connector. c. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below. Standard Resistance RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS Fig. 211: Identifying Fuel Pressure Control Valve Relay And D74 ECM Connector Terminals NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: REPLACE ECM (See REMOVAL ) 4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (F/PMP VSV RELAY - EFI MAIN RELAY) a. Remove the integration relay (EFI MAIN) from the engine room relay block. b. Remove the fuel pressure control valve relay (F/PMP VSV) from the engine room relay block. c. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below. Standard Resistance RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F/PMP VSV relay (1) - D74-60 (FPCR) Always Below 1 ohms F/PMP VSV relay (1) or D74-60 (FPCR) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F/PMP VSV relay (2) - 1B-4 Always Below 1 ohms F/PMP VSV relay (5) - 1B-4 Always Below 1 ohms
