Clutch pedal stop

Check distance X between support and screw (4) end; it must
be 30 to 31.5 mm, otherwise tighten or loosen screw (4).

Clutch pedal idle stroke

Depress the clutch pedal (6) so as to bring rod (7) in contact
with master cylinder piston (8).
Under such condition, check distance Y between clutch pedal
(6) and screw (5) that must be 1-2 mm, otherwise tighten or
loosen screw (5).
Distance Y corresponds to 0.5 to 1 mm clearance between
rod (4) and piston (8) when clutch pedal (6) is in contact with
screw (5).

Clutch pedal stop

Check distance A between pedal support (1) and screw (2)
end; it must be approx. 32.5 mm, otherwise tighten or loosen
the screw.

Clutch pedal idle stroke

Depress the clutch pedal (8) so as to bring rod (6) in contact
with master cylinder piston (5).
Under such condition, check distance B between clutch pedal
(8) and screw (7) that must be 1-2 mm, otherwise tighten or
loosen screw (7).
Distance B corresponds to 0.5 to 1 mm clearance between
rod (6) and piston (5) when the clutch pedal (8) is in contact
with screw (7).

Excessive clearance between gears.

Revise the gearbox and replace worn gears.

Worn gears, bearings, synchronising rings and coupling
bodies.

Revise the gearbox and replace parts gears.

Insufficient lubricating oil level in box.

Add TUTELA ZC 90 oil restoring the exact level.

Insufficient oil pressure (only for gearboxes equipped
with oil pump).

Replace the oil pump.

Forks breakage.

Completely engage the gears before releasing the
clutch pedal.

Exact engagement manoeuvre.
