1. Tank flap unit

Removing

Installing:  

 

- Unscrew fuel tank cap.

- Press back release rod by 
operating remote 
unlocking.

- Remove bolt

- Remove rubber part of 
tank filler flange and swivel 
out fuel flap unit from side 
panel.

 

Assembly piece and actuator 
element are installed.

To remove fuel filler cap, press out 
securing pin in fuel flap unit  

 

4. Assembly piece

Inserted into side panel  

 

5. Seal  

6. Actuator for fuel filler flap  

7. Angle bracket  

8. Release rod  

9. Rubber piece

Must be rolled for installation  

 

10. Side panel  

- Install fuel flap unit 
(rubber part rolled up) with 
hinge side first.

- Bolt in fuel flap unit and 
assembly piece.

Note : 
Bolts for door hinges must always be 
replaced after loosening.  
 
To remove and adjust upper door hinges, 
instrument cluster must be removed.
