Carry out following work:
– Remove mirror glass

– Remove trim

– Disengage locking hooks -2- at mirror housing -1- -arrow-.
– Remove mirror housing -1- from mirror mounting -3-.

Carry out following work:
– Press mirror housing -1- onto mirror mounting -3- until locking

hooks -2- engage audibly.

– Installing trim

Removing and installing adjustment unit

with motor for exterior mirror

Note

The removal and installation sequence is only for the right ad‐

justment unit with motor. Removal and installation of the left

adjustment unit with motor are analogous.

Carry out following work:
– Remove mirror glass

– Undo bolts -2- (3 bolts) and remove adjustment unit together

with motor -1- from mirror mounting.

– Swivel adjustment unit together with motor -1- to the side and

pull off connector -3-.

2. Exterior mirror

Carry out following work:
– Connect connector -3- to adjustment unit with motor -1-.
– Place adjustment unit with motor -1- on mirror mounting and

fix in place by tightening screws -2- (qty. 3).

Specified torque for bolts -2-: 2 Nm.
– Install mirror glass

• Perform functional check.
