Removing and installing cover

Note

The removal and installation sequence is only for the right cover.

Removal and installation of the left door cover is analogous.

2.3.1

Removing

gr.  70 ; Door trim .

– Lift upper end of cover -1-.

If required for subsequent work, pull cable -2- with grommet -3- out of cover -1-.

2.3.2

Installing

Carry out following work:
– Pull cable -2- through cover -1- and secure grommet -3-.
– Insert cover -1- into door -4- from below.
– Press cover -1- into door -4- from above -arrow-.

Note

Removal and installation are described only for the right door re‐

taining strap. The removal and installation of the left door retaining

strap is similar.

2.4.1

Removing

gr.  70 ; Door trim .

– Remove riveted loudspeaker.
– Unscrew bolt -2- on B-pillar.
– Unscrew bolts -3- and then remove door retaining strap -1-

through the opening of the loudspeaker.
