Removing and installing tank flap unit

3.3.1

Removing

Carry out following work:
– Screw off tank cover.
– Peel rubber grommet of tank flap unit -1- off tank filler neck

– Remove bolt -3-.

3. Tank flap unit

– Release remaining locking mechanisms of tank flap unit using

removal wedge -3409- in specified sequence -arrows 2 … 4-.

– Swing out tank flap unit with water drainage hose from side

panel.

3.3.2

Installing

Carry out following work:
– Insert water drainage hose -4- through opening in tank flap unit

-3- and pull through water drainage hose as far as it will go.

– Push water drainage hose-4- between wheel housing and

wheel housing liner and into the side panel.
