Removing

Carry out following work:
– Support bonnet -1- and remove support rod from bonnet.
– Lever out retaining clips -3- from bonnet -1- using removal

lever -80 - 200- .

– Pull insulation -2- out of oblong holes in bonnet -1-.

Jetta 2011 ➤ , Jetta Hybrid 2013 ➤

1. Bonnet

Carry out following work:
• When installing insulation -2-, ensure that retaining clips -3-

are fitted with the wider side facing outwards.

– Slide insulation -2- with fitting lugs into oblong holes of bonnet

-1-.

– Insert all retaining clips -3- into bonnet -1-.

2 - Seal in centre

❑ Removing:
– Pull off centre seal from

bonnet.

❑ Installing:
– Press centre seal into

bonnet with clips -3-

3 - Clip

❑ Before installing, check

for damage and renew if

necessary.

Removing

Carry out following work:
– Brace the bonnet open.
– Swing support rod -1- upwards.
– Pull support rod -1- out of rubber grommet -2-.
