Removing

dow washer system; Removing and installing spray jets for

window washer system .

– Unclip line -6- from bonnet -1-.
– Pull line -6- out of opening in bonnet -1-.
– Loosen nuts -3- on left and right hinges -2- (do not remove

completely).

Further dismantling requires the assistance of a second mechan‐

ic.
– Remove support rod -4- from bonnet.
– Now, unscrew and remove nuts -3- and lift bonnet -1- out of

hinges -2-.

Carry out following work:
Installation of bonnet -1- is carried out accordingly in reverse or‐

der of removal.

Note

Install the line -6- in a curve. If line is installed twisted it will kink.

Specified torque for nuts -3-: 22 Nm

Removing and installing bonnet hinge

Note

Removal and installation is described for the right hinge only. Re‐

moval and installation of the left hinge are similar.

– Remove bolts -3-.
– Pull off hinge -2-.

Installation of the hinge -2- is carried out in the reverse order of

removal.
Specified torque for bolts -3-: 22 Nm.
