DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

READ DATA LIST
HINT:
By accessing the DATA LIST using the intelligent tester, 
values of the switches and sensors can be read without 
removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST is the first 
step of troubleshooting and is one method of shortening 
labor time.
(a) Connect the intelligent tester with the CAN VIM to 

the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester ON.
(c) Enter the DATA LIST by following the prompts 

displayed on the tester screen.

DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON, the combination meter assembly receives signals from the front seat inner 
belt assembly (driver side). When the seat belt is unfastened, the combination meter assembly flashes the 
driver seat belt warning light in the combination meter assembly. When the seat belt is fastened, the 
combination meter assembly stops flashing the front driver seat belt warning light.

WIRING DIAGRAM

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

(a) Connect the intelligent tester with the CAN VIM to the 

DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester ON.
(c) Enter the following menus: OBD/MOBD / BODY / DATA 

LIST

Front seat inner belt assembly (driver side) 
operates normally.

(b) Disconnect the L19 front seat inner belt assembly (driver 

side) connector.

(c) Measure the resistance.

Standard resistance

(d) Reconnect the combination meter assembly connector.
(e) Reconnect the front seat inner belt assembly (driver 

side) connector.

(a) Disconnect the L19 front seat inner belt assembly (driver 

side) connector.

(b) Measure the resistance.

(c) Reconnect the front seat inner belt assembly (driver 

side) connector.
