Install the courtesy light assembly (see REASSEMBLY ). 

10. INSTALL REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear door frame garnish LH (See REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear door frame garnish LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

11. INSTALL REAR UPPER DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL LH 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear upper door armrest base panel LH (See REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear upper door armrest base panel LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

12. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH 

a. for Double Cab: 

Install the rear door inside handle bezel plug LH (See REASSEMBLY ). 

b. for CrewMax: 

Install the rear door inside handle bezel plug LH (see REASSEMBLY ). 

13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

BACK POWER WINDOW SWITCH 

COMPONENTS 

NOTE:

Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see 
INITIALIZATION ).

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (See REMOVAL )  

2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (See REMOVAL )  

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (See REMOVAL )  

4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See

5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Back Window) 

a. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws.

HINT: 

Tape the screwdriver tip before use. 

b. Remove the regulator switch.  

INSPECTION 

1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Back Window) 

a. Check the resistance. 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly. 

b. Check that the LED illuminates. 

1. Apply battery voltage to the power window regulator switch and check that the LED 

illuminates. 

OK  

POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH AND LED ILLUMINATES 

If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly. 

INSTALLATION 

1. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Back Window) 

a. Attach the 2 claws to install the regulator switch.  

Measurement Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) --> Connector A-S (ILL+) 

Battery negative (-) --> Connector A-1 (ILL-)

LED illuminates
