INSPECTION PROCEDURE 

1. CHECK DTC 

a. Disconnect the K16 and K17 amplifier connectors.  

b. Clear the DTC.  

c. Check if DTC 74-40 is output. 

OK: DTC 74-40 is not output.  

NG: REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL ) 

OK: Go to Next Step
