REMOVAL 

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.  



The procedures listed below are for the LH side.  

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG (See DISASSEMBLY )  

2. REMOVE FRONT UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL (See DISASSEMBLY )

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power 

Window) (See DISASSEMBLY )  

4. REMOVE FRONT LOWER DOOR FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (See DISASSEMBLY )  

5. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Window) (See DISASSEMBLY )  

6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )  

7. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

a. w/ Power Mirror Control System: Disconnect the connector labeled A.  

b. Remove the 3 nuts and claw.  

c. Remove the outer rear view mirror.  

INSPECTION 

1. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

a. w/ Power Mirror Control System: 

Check the outer mirror motor operation. 

1. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the mirror face.

If the result is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly. 

b. w/ Retract Mirror: 

Check the retractable mirror's movement. 

1. For each position: Disconnect the battery, set the mirror position by hand, connect the 

battery, and check the retractable mirror's movement.
