INSPECTION PROCEDURE 

1. INSPECT FUSE (CARGO LP) 

a. Remove the CARGO LP fuse from the main body ECU.  

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. 

Standard resistance  

FUSE (CARGO LP) 

NG: REPLACE FUSE  

OK: Go to next step  

2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM (CARGO LIGHT) 

a. Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test".

OK: Cargo light turns on / off.  

NG: Go to step 3  

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS

3. READ VALUE OF TECHSTREAM (CARGO LIGHT SWITCH) 

a. Operate the Techstream according to the display and select the "DATA LIST" or "Data List".

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CARGO LIGHT - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 

a. Disconnect the P8 light connector.

b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below. 

Standard voltage  

CARGO LIGHT - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND VOLTAGE 

c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

5. INSPECT CARGO LIGHT SWITCH 

a. Remove the cargo light switch (see REMOVAL ).

b. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. 

Standard resistance

NG: REPLACE CARGO LIGHT SWITCH (see REMOVAL ) 

OK: Go to next step

a. Disconnect the J3 and J4 ECU connectors.

b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
