2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 

a. Disconnect the vacuum hose and ventilation hose.  

b. Loosen the 2 clamps.  

c. Remove the air cleaner hose.

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

a. Remove the air cleaner cap. 

1. Disconnect the MAF meter connector.  

2. Using a clip remover, detach the wire harness clamp.  

3. Unfasten the 4 hook clamps and then remove the air cleaner cap.  

b. Remove the air cleaner element.

c. Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner case.

4. REMOVE VENTILATION HOSE ASSEMBLY 

a. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the ventilation pipe of the cylinder head cover LH and RH.  

b. Remove the 2 bolts and ventilation hose.

INSTALLATION 

1. INSTALL VENTILATION HOSE ASSEMBLY 

a. Install the ventilation hose with the 2 bolts. 

Torque: for bolt A  

21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15ft.*lbf)  

for bolt B  

10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

b. Connect the ventilation hose to the ventilation pipe of the cylinder head cover LH and RH.  

2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

a. Install the air cleaner case with the 2 bolts. 

Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

b. Install the air cleaner element onto the air cleaner case.  

c. Install the air cleaner cap. 

1. Fasten the 4 hook clamps.  

2. Connect the MAF meter connector.  

3. Attach the wire harness clamp.
