DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 2. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR (for 4WD) . (SeeEXHAUST MANIFOLD ). 3. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 4WD) . (See REMOVAL ). 4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab Standard Deck) a. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector. b. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector. c. Remove the 2 bolts from the front No. 3 exhaust manifold. d. Remove the 3 nuts and exhaust pipe. 5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY a. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector. b. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector. c. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts from the center exhaust pipe. 4 Gas leakage from CAUTION: The procedures should be performed by at least 2 people. Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.
