1. INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW METER a. Read the value using the Techstream. 1. Turn the ignition switch ON (do not run the engine). 2. Turn the Techstream main switch ON. 3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine and ECT/Data List/All Data/MAF. 4. Wait 30 seconds, and read the values on the Techstream. Specified condition DATA LIST If the result is not as specified, replace the MAF meter. If the result is within the specified range, inspect the MAF meter (see INSPECTION ). REMOVAL 1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER . (See INTAKE SYSTEM ). 3. REMOVE MASS AIR FLOW METER a. Disconnect the MAF meter connector. b. Remove the 2 screws and MAF meter.
