Fitting

Depending on the vehicle's equipment.

The item numbers indicated in the text correspond to the figure on page .

Install a new ring

Use tool 3016 + 2363

Drive in as far as the shoulder stop.

Grease the top support face of the stub axle.

Use

SUPEROL HP2

grease.

Install a new seal

 (14).

Match the direction of assembly.

Do not grease seal

 (14).

Fit stub axle

 (8).

Take care to not damage seal

 (14).

Install kingpin

 (10).

Use tool 9423.

Press until a force of

 17 tonnes is reached.

Assemble bearing

 (5) made up of outer ring (B) and inner ring (A).
