FRONT DOOR FINISHER

Remove front door finisher fixing screws (A).

6.

Remove step lamp assembly. Refer to 

INL-75, "Removal and Installation"

.

7.

Remove front door finisher.

a.

Disengage fixing clips using a remover tool (A), and then pull out
front door finisher.

CAUTION:

Insert a remover tool between door panel and clip and dis-
engage pawl.

b.

Disconnect lock knob cable (1) and inside handle cable (2), and
then remove front door finisher.

NOTE:
• Remove seat memory switch. Refer to 

ADP-113, "Removal and Installation"

.

• Remove power window switch.

Front window anti-pinch. Refer to 

PWC-68, "Removal and Installation"

.

Driver side window anti-pinch. Refer to 

PWC-123, "Removal and Installation"

.

INSTALLATION

Note the following item, and install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

• One of the front door finisher fixing clips is not reusable. Always replace that clip after every front

door finisher disassembly. Refer to 

INT-13, "Exploded View"

.

• When installing, check in advance that clips are accurately aligned with the holes on door panel side,

and then install by pressing in.

Removal and Installation

CAUTION:

• When removing, always use a remover tool that is made of plastic to prevent damage to the parts.
• Never damage the slide door panel.

REMOVAL

1.

Fully open slide door.

2.

Disengage fixing clips (B) on rear portion of door finisher using a remover tool (A).

3.

Remove slide door inside handle. Refer to 

DLK-471, "INSIDE HANDLE : Removal and Installation"

.

4.

Disengage remaining fixing clips (B) using a remover tool (A).

5.

Pull toward the direction of the arrows as shown in the figure to
remove.

6.

Disconnect harness connector, and then remove slide door fin-
isher.

7.

Remove the following parts after removing slide door finisher.
Remove power window switch. 
• Front window anti-pinch: Refer to 

PWC-69, "Removal and Installation"

.

• Driver side window anti-pinch: Refer to 

PWC-123, "Removal and Installation"

.

8.

Remove shade hook, if shade hook must be replaced.

a.

Remove hook pin using a remover tool (A).

CAUTION:

Apply protective tape (B) on the part to protect it from dam-
age.

b.

Pull toward vehicle lower, disengage shade hook fixing pawl,
and then remove.

INSTALLATION

Note the following item, and install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

When installing, check in advance that clips are accurately aligned with the holes on body panel side,
and then install by pressing in.
