COLLECT INFORMATION FROM THE CUSTOMER

Get detailed information from the customer about the symptom (the condition and the environment when the

incident/malfunction occurred) using the diagnostic worksheet. Refer to 

BRC-35, "Diagnostic Work Sheet"

2.

PERFORM SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

Perform self diagnostic result. Refer to 

BRC-19, "CONSULT Function (ABS)"

Are any DTCs displayed?

YES

>> Refer to 

BRC-26, "DTC Index"

.

NO

>> GO TO 3.

3.

CHECK SYMPTOM OPERATING CONDITION

Check that the symptom is a normal operating condition. Refer to 

BRC-68, "Description"

.

Is the symptom a normal operating condition?

YES

>> Inspection End.

NO

>> GO TO 4.

4.

CHECK WARNING AND INDICATOR LAMPS OPERATION

Check ABS and brake warning lamps. Refer to 

MWI-7, "METER SYSTEM : System Description"
