< REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION >

THIRD SEAT

• When installing the third seat, lock it to the floor completely

and then perform tightening in the order of 1

→

2 as shown in

the figure.

• When installing striker, tighten fixing bolts according to the

numerical order 1

→

2 as shown in the figure, starting from

vehicle front fixing bolt.

SEATBACK : Disassembly and Assembly

DISASSEMBLY

1.

Remove headrest.

2.

Remove bridge board pipe.

a.

Remove under finisher (LH and RH).

i.

Remove under finisher fixing screws 

.

ii.

Disengage under finisher fixing pawls, and then remove under
finisher.

Remove bridge board pipe fixing bolts 

, and then remove

bridge board pipe and bridge board as a set.

Remove seatback board.

a.

Disengage seatback board fixing clips.

CAUTION:

• When disengaging clips, be careful of the inserted portion 

.

• Before installing the seatback board, check the engaging direction of clip.

b.

Remove release strap.

i.

Remove lever tube 

.

ii.

Remove release strap from seatback frame.

4.

Disengage seatback trim fixing retainers 

 and magic fasteners

.

5.

Remove the headrest holder by raising it while pinching the
pawls from the bottom of the headrest holder.

CAUTION:

Before installing headrest holder, check its orientation
(front/rear and right/left)

6.

Remove seatback trim and seatback pad as a set.

7.

Remove seatback silencer.

8.

Remove hog rings, and then separate the seatback trim and seatback pad.

CAUTION:

Before performing separating operation, check the installation position of hog rings.

ASSEMBLY

Note the following items, and then assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

CAUTION:

• For hog ring that is removed or crimped unsuccessfully, fix it by using a new hog ring. (Never reuse

hog ring.)

• Always install the hog rings in position.

Remove seat cushion trim fixing clips 

, and then disengage

seat cushion trim fixing magic fastener
