< REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION >

SECOND SEAT (SLIDING TYPE)

3.

Disengage seat cushion trim fixing retainers 

, and then remove seat cushion trim and seat cushion pad

as a set.

4.

Remove seat cushion silencer.

5.

Remove hog rings, and then separate seat cushion trim and seat cushion pad.

CAUTION:

Before performing separating operation, check the installation position of hog rings.

6.

Remove the following parts after removing seat cushion trim and pad.

Seat Rail

1.

Disengage towel bar fixing portion 

 using a remover tool

(A), and then pull out towel bar.

2.

Remove seat cushion inside finisher outer side. Refer to 

SE-65, "SEAT CUSHION FINISHER : Disas-

sembly and Assembly"

.

3.

Remove seat rail fixing nuts 

, and then remove seat rail.

Seat Control Cable 2 (if equipped)

1.

Remove seat cushion inside finisher outer side. Refer to 

SE-65, "SEAT CUSHION FINISHER : Disas-

sembly and Assembly"

.

Remove seat control cable 2 fixing screw 

, then disengage seat control cable 2 fixing clips accord-

ing to the numerical order 1

→

2 as shown in the figure, and then remove seat control cable 2.

ASSEMBLY

Note the following items, and then assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

CAUTION:

• For hog ring that is removed or crimped unsuccessfully, fix it by using a new hog ring. (Never reuse

hog ring.)

• Always install the hog rings in position.

DISASSEMBLY

Seat Cushion Outside Finisher Outer Side

1.

Remove screw cap.

a.

Apply protective tape (A) on the parts to protect it from damage.

b.

Disengage screw cap fixing pawls using a remover tool (A), and
then remove screw cap.

Remove seat cushion outside finisher outer side fixing screw 

,

then disengage seat cushion outside finisher outer side fixing
clip, pawls, and then remove seat cushion outside finisher outer
side.

Seat Cushion Outside Finisher Inner Side

Second Seat RH

• Disengage seat cushion outside finisher inner side fixing clips,

pawls, and then remove seat cushion outside finisher inner side.

Second Seat LH

1.

Disengage seat cushion outside finisher inner side fixing clips,
pawls, and then remove seat cushion outside finisher inner side.

2.

Remove seat cushion outside finisher inner side.

Seat Cushion Inside Finisher Outer Side

1.

Remove seatback frame. Refer to 

SE-58, "SEATBACK : Disassembly and Assembly"

.

2.

Remove seat cushion trim and seat cushion pad as a set. Refer to 

SE-63, "SEAT CUSHION : Disassem-

bly and Assembly"

2.

Remove seat cushion outside finisher inner side.

3.

Remove seat cushion inside finisher inner side rear.

Disengage seat cushion inside finisher inner side rear fixing
pawl.

-

Disengage seat cushion inside finisher inner side rear fixing clip,
and then remove seat cushion inside finisher inner side rear.

4.

Disengage seat cushion inside finisher inner side front fixing
clip, and then remove seat cushion inside finisher inner side
front.

Second seat LH

1.

Remove seat cushion trim and seat cushion pad as a set. Refer to 

SE-63, "SEAT CUSHION : Disassem-

bly and Assembly"
