11 . Connect the turbocharger outlet pipe.  

 

 

 

12 . Install the turbocharger outlet pipe retaining bolt. 

 

 

 

13 . Install the turbocharger support bracket. 

  

 

Tighten to 23 Nm.

 

 

 

 

 

14 . Install the turbocharger heatshield.  

  

 

Tighten to 6 Nm.

 

 

 

 

 

15 . Install the turbocharger heatshield retaining nut. 

  

 

Tighten to 10 Nm.

 

 

 

 

 

16 . Install the left-hand catalytic converter.

17 . Install the air deflector.  

For additional information, refer to Air Deflector (76.11.41)

Turbocharger RH   

Removal  

 

1 . Remove the right-hand catalytic converter.  

For additional information, refer to 

Catalytic Converter - 2.7L V6 - TdV6 (17.50.05) 

 

 

 

2 . Remove the right-hand engine mount.  

For additional information, refer to 

Engine Mount RH (12.45.03) 

 

 

3 . Detach the steering gear.  

 

 

4 . Using a suitable piece of string, secure the steering gear. 

 

 

 

5 . Remove the starter motor securing bracket. 

 
 

 

 

6 . Detach the starter motor solenoid harness.  

 

 

7 . Remove the starter motor.  

 

 

8 . Detach the wiring harness from the engine mount retaining bracket. 

 

 

 

9 . Remove the engine mount retaining bracket.
