10 . Install the rear door speaker.  

  

 

Tighten the retaining bolts.

 

 

 

 

11 . Connect the rear door speaker electrical connector. 

 

 

 

12 . Using a suitable sealant, seal the rear door panel seal. 

 

 

 

13 . Install the rear door latch trim panel.  

  

 

Tighten the retaining screw.

 

 

 

 

14 . Install the rear door inner weather strip.  

 

 

15 . Remove the protection from the rear door trim and rear door frame. 

 

 

 

16 . NOTE:  

  

Make sure the area is clean and dry. 

 
Apply a 10 mm bead of sealant to the rear door window glass seal and the rear door panel seal. 

  

 

Apply a suitable glass primer to the rear door glass.

17 . Install the rear door glass trim panel.  

  

 

Apply a suitable metal primer to the inner edge of the rear door glass trim panel. 

  

 

Apply a suitable rubber primer to the inner edge of the rear door glass. 

 

 

 

 

18 . Install the rear door trim panel.

Removal  

 

1 . Remove the rear door trim panel.  

For additional information, refer to Rear Door Trim Panel (76.34.04)  

 

 

2 . Detach the rear door wiring harness.  

  

 

Disconnect the rear door speaker electrical connector. 

 

 

 

 

3 . Detach the rear door wiring harness grommet. 

 

 

 

4 . Remove the rear door inner weather-shield retaining screw covers. 

 

 

 

5 . Remove the rear door inner weather-shield.
