9 . Remove the front door armour panel.  

  

 

A: Remove the retaining nuts. 

  

 

B: Remove the 50mm (1.97 inch) long retaining bolts.

  

 

C: Remove the 20mm (0.79 inch) long retaining bolts.

  

 

D: Remove the 25mm (0.98 inch) long retaining bolts.

 

 

 

 

10 . Remove the front door inner weathershield. 

 

 

11 . Using suitable tie straps support the front door window glass. 

 

 

 

12 . Detach the front door window regulator and motor wiring harness. 

  

 

Remove the retaining nut. 

 

 

 

 

13 . Detach the front door window regulator and motor wiring harness relays. 

 

 

 

14 . Detach the front door window regulator and motor wiring harness. 

 

 

 

15 . Disconnect the front door window regulator and motor electrical connector. 

 

 

 

16 . Remove the front door window regulator and motor retaining bolts. 

  

1) Remove the front retaining bolt. 

  

2) Remove the rear retaining bolt.

17 . NOTE:  

  

Note the position of the front door window glass rollers. 

 
NOTE:  

  

Note the length of front door window regulator and motor. 

 
Remove the front door window regulator and motor.  

  

1) Remove the 20mm (0.79 inch) long retaining bolt.

  

2) Remove the 25mm (0.98 inch) long retaining bolt.

 

 

 
 

Installation  

 

1 . NOTE:  

  

Make sure the front door window glass rollers are correctly installed. 

 
NOTE:  

  

Apply suitable thread lock to the retaining bolts. 

 
Install the front door window regulator and motor.  

  

1) Install the 20mm (0.79 inch) long retaining bolt. 

  

2) Install the 25mm (0.98 inch) long retaining bolt. 

  

 

Tighten to 35 Nm. 

  

 

Undo the retaining bolts 45 degrees. 

 

 

 
 

 

 

2 . NOTE:  

  

It maybe necessary to install shims to align the front door window glass. 

 
Install the front door window regulator and motor retaining bolts.  

  

1) Install the front retaining bolt. 

  

2) Install the rear retaining bolt. 

 

 

 

 

3 . Adjust the front door window glass and tighten the retaining nut. 

  

 

Tighten the retaining bolts. 

 

 

 

 

4 . Remove the suitable tie straps supporting the front door window glass. 

 

 

 

5 . Connect the front door window regulator and motor electrical connector.
