  CAUTION: Make sure the hood does not contact the vehicle body while 

installing. Failure to carry out these instructions may cause damage to the 
vehicle.  

 
NOTE:  

  

Left-hand shown, right-hand similar. 

 
To install, reverse the removal procedure.  

  

 

Tighten to 25 Nm. 

 

 

 

 

2 . Align the hood.

Door Check Arm – Armoured 

Removal  

NOTE:  

  

Rear door check arm shown, front door check arm similar. 

 

 

1 . Remove the rear door trim panel.  

For additional information, refer to 

Rear Door Trim Panel (76.34.04) 

 

 

2 . Remove the rear door inner weather strip.  

 

 

3 . Remove the rear door latch trim panel.  

  

 

Remove the retaining screw.

 

 

 

 

4 . Using a suitable tool, cut the rear door panel seal.

5 . Disconnect the rear door speaker electrical connector. 

 

 

 

6 . Remove the rear door speaker.  

 

 

7 . Remove the rear door access panel.  

  

 

Remove the retaining bolts.

 

 

 

 

8 . Remove the rear door handle release cable access panel. 

 

 

 

9 . Remove the rear door armour panel.  

 

 

10 . Remove the door check arm retaining bolt. 

 

 

11 . Remove the door check arm.  

  

 

Remove the retaining circlip and the retaining pin.

 

 

 
 

Installation  

 

1 . Install the door check arm.  

  

 

Install the retaining circlip and the retaining pin.

 

 

 

 

2 . Install the door check arm retaining bolt.
