NOTE:

• Put on gloves to protect your hands.
• Take care not to scratch the body and related parts.

1. Remove the front inner fender (A).

–1 Remove the screws (B) from the rear of the front wheel arch, then remove the splash guard (C).
–2 From under the front bumper (D), remove the bolts (E) securing the front bumper and front inner fender, and

remove the clips (F) securing the front inner fender and front splash shield (G).

–3 From the wheel arch, remove the clips (H, I) securing the front inner fender (and splash shield) to the body.
–4 Pull out the front inner fender from the wheel arch.

2. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

• Make sure to set the tab (J) on the inner fender behind the front bumper.
• Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
• Push the clips into place securely.

NOTE:

• Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the splash shield (A).

–1 From under the front bumper (B), remove the bolts (C), then turn down the bumper, and remove the clip (D).
–2 Remove the clips (E, F) that secure the front inner fender (G) and splash shield to the body.
–3 Pull the splash shield out.

2. Install the splash shield in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

• Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
• Push the clips into place securely.

1. Remove the front inner fender as needed (see page

20-178).

2. Pull out and remove the front fender fairing (A).

3. Install the fender fairing in the reverse order of

removal.

1. Remove the left front inner fender as needed

(see page 20-178).

2. Open the driver’s door.

3. Remove the bolts, then remove the left front splash

guard reinforcement (A). Take care not to scratch
the body.

4. Install the reinforcement in the reverse order of

removal.

NOTE:

1. Remove the rear fender cover (A).

–1 Remove the screws (B, C) and clips (D) and from the wheel arch of the fender cover.
–2 Remove the clips (E) from under the rear bumper (F).
–3 Pull out the rear fender cover.

NOTE: The left side is shown, the right side is similar.

2. Install the fender cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

• Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
• Push the clips into place securely.
