1. Remove the polyurethane (PU) adhesive cap and 

heat the PU adhesive for a minimum of 30 
minutes.

2. Remove the A-pillar trim panel. 

Refer to: A-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior 
Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and 
Installation). 

3. Break off or drill out the front quarter window 

glass spacer pin.

5 mm drill bit

NOTE: This step requires the aid of another 
technician. 

From inside the vehicle, cut the PU 
adhesive.
