IGN GEM while turning the ignition switch through the START, RUN, OFF and ACC positions. • Do the PID values agree with the ignition switch position? No = REFER to Section 417-02 of the 2001 Ranger Workshop Manual. Y2 RETRIEVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCs) • Retrieve and document continuous DTCs, clear continuous DTCs, and Yes = If DTC B1319, REFER to carry out on-demand self-test. OFF and read ON--- when the active command is ON? If the PID DRAJR L reads Y4 CHECK INSTRUMENT CLUSTER • With key OFF, disconnect instrument cluster C215.
