Symptom: LEFT HIGH BEAM OUTPUT SHORT When Monitored and Set Condition: LEFT HIGH BEAM OUTPUT SHORT When Monitored: Output is ON to OFF transition. Set Condition: When Output is ON to OFF transition and voltage is detected low at output for less then 50 micros seconds. POSSIBLE CAUSES INTERMITTENT CONDITION LEFT HIGH BEAM OUTPUT SHORTED HIGH BEAM HEADLAMP BODY CONTROL MODULE TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY 1 Turn the ignition on. t, clear all BCM DTC’s. Actuate the High Beams. t, read the DTC information. Does the DRBIII t read: Left High Beam Output Short? All Yes → Go To 2 No → The condition that caused the symptom is currently not present. Inspect the related wiring for a possible intermittent condition. 2 Turn the ignition off. All Yes → Repair the Left High Beam Output circuit for a short to ground. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. No → Go To 3 189 EXTERIOR LIGHTING |
