Symptom: LEFT FOG LAMP OUTPUT OPEN When Monitored and Set Condition: LEFT FOG LAMP OUTPUT OPEN When Monitored: Output is ON to OFF transition. Set Condition: When Output is ON to OFF transition and voltage is detected low at output for greater then 50 micros seconds. POSSIBLE CAUSES INTERMITTENT CONDITION BODY CONTROL MODULE LEFT FOG LAMP OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY 1 Turn the ignition on. t, clear all BCM DTC’s. Turn the Fog Lamps on. t, read the DTC information. Does the DRBIII t read: Left Fog Lamp Output Open? All Yes → Go To 2 No → The condition that caused the symptom is currently not present. Inspect the related wiring for a possible intermittent condition. 2 Turn the ignition off. All Yes → Replace the Body Control Module. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. No → Repair the Left Fog Lamp Output Circuit. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. 185 EXTERIOR LIGHTING |
