To diagnose a bent hub, (Refer to 5 - BRAKES/HY- DRAULIC/MECHANICAL/ROTORS - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING). REMOVAL NOTE: Review all Warnings and Cautions. (Refer to (1) Raise vehicle. (Refer to LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE/HOISTING - STANDARD PROCE- (2) Remove wheel and tire assembly. (Refer to 22 - TIRES/WHEELS - REMOVAL) (3) Remove brake caliper from knuckle and hang out of way, then remove brake rotor. (Refer to 5 - - REMOVAL) (4) Remove bolt fastening ABS wheel speed sensor head to steering knuckle (Fig. 2). Remove sensor (5) Remove bolt retaining ABS tone wheel to hub and bearing (Fig. 3). (6) Remove ABS tone wheel (Fig. 3). 4). (8) Remove hub and bearing assembly from knuckle.
