Possible Causes (Z908) (Z977) (Z904) GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN (A919) FUSED B+ CIRCUIT OPEN (F202) (F1) FUSED IGNITION SWITCH OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN (D25) PCI BUS CIRCUIT OPEN POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE Diagnostic Test 1. ESTABLISH COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (MIC) Turn the ignition on. NOTE: Ensure there is PCI bus communication with other modules. If not, refer to the PCI Bus Communi- Was the DRB able to I/D or communicate with the MIC? Yes >> Go To 2 No >> Refer to the table of contents and perform the related symptom. Perform (NGC) 45RFE/545RFE TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST VER 1. 2. (Z908) (Z977) (Z904) GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the PCM C4 harness connector. CAUTION: Do not probe the PCM harness connectors. Probing Is the test light illuminated for each circuit? Yes >> Go To 3 No >> Repair the (Z908) (Z977) (Z904) Ground circuit for an open.
