BLOWER NOT ON HIGH (CONTINUED) For the Manual Temperature Control circuit diagrams (Refer to 24 - HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING - SCHEMAT- For a complete wiring diagram Refer to Section 8W. • When Monitored: • Set Condition: Possible Causes FAULTS PRESENT IN THE HVAC SYSTEM BLOWER DID NOT REMAIN ON HIGH SPEED FOR THE ENTIRE TEST BLOWER MOTOR / RELATED CIRCUITS Diagnostic Test 1. CHECK FOR DTCS IN THE A/C HEATER CONTROL Turn the ignition on. With the DRBIII T , read HVAC DTCs. Does the DRBIII T display any DTCs? Yes >> Diagnose and repair the DTC(s). Refer to the Table of Contents in this Section for a complete list of HVAC related symptoms. When the repair is complete, erase the DTCs, cycle the ignition switch, start Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL No >> Go To 2 2. CHECK THE BLOWER SPEED SETTING Was the blower control set to high speed for the entire Cooldown Test? Yes >> Check the blower motor and related circuits for the cause of blower operation problems and repair as necessary. When the repair is complete, cycle the ignition switch, set the blower control to high speed, Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
