The GTW and towed load values indicated are valid up to a maximum altitude of 1 000 metres; the towed load mentioned
must be reduced by 10 % for each additional 1 000 metres of altitude.
The speed of a towing vehicle must not exceed 60 mph (100 km/h) (comply with the legislation in force in your country).
High ambient temperatures may result in a reduction in the performance of the vehicle to protect the engine; if the ambient
temperature is above 37 °C, limit the towed load.

A. Vehicle identiﬁ cation number (VIN)

under the bonnet.

This number is engraved on the body-
work near the damper mounting.

B. Vehicle identiﬁ cation number on

the dashboard.

This number is indicated on a self-ad-
hesive label which is visible through the
windscreen.

C. Manufacturer's label.
The VIN is indicated on a self-destroy-

ing label afﬁ xed to the left hand centre

pillar.

D. Tyre/paint label.
This label is afﬁ xed to the left hand cen-

tre pillar.
It bears the following information:
-

the tyre pressures, for unladen and
laden conditions,

the wheel rim and tyre sizes,

the brands of tyre recommended by
the manufacturer,

- the spare tyre inﬂ ation pressure,

the paint colour code.

Wheels which are ﬁ tted with

205/45 R17 tyres cannot be ﬁ t-

BRAKING ASSISTANCE
SYSTEMS

Group of supplementary systems which

help you to obtain optimum braking in

complete safety in emergency situa-

tions:
- anti-lock braking system (ABS),

- electronic brake force distribution

(EBFD),

- emergency braking assistance (EBA).

Anti-lock braking system
and electronic brake force
distribution

Linked systems which improve the sta-

bility and manoeuvrability of your vehi-

cle when braking, in particular on poor

or slippery surfaces.

Activation
The anti-lock braking system comes

into operation automatically when there

is a risk of wheel lock.
Normal operation of the ABS may make

itself felt by slight vibration of the brake
pedal.

When braking in an emergency,

press very ﬁ rmly without releasing

the pressure.

Operating fault

In either case, contact a CITROËN

dealer or a qualiﬁ ed workshop.

If this warning lamp comes on,

accompanied by an audible

signal and a message in the

multifunction screen, it indicates a mal-

function of the anti-lock braking system

which could result in loss of control of

the vehicle when braking.

If this warning lamp comes

on, together with the STOP

and ABS

warning lamps, ac-

companied by an audible signal and a

message in the multifunction screen, it

indicates a malfunction of the electron-

ic brake force distribution which could

result in loss of control of the vehicle

when braking.
You must stop as soon as it is safe
to do so.

When replacing wheels (tyres

and rims), ensure that they con-

form to the manufacturer's rec-

ommendations.

Emergency braking assistance

System which, in an emergency, en-

ables you to obtain the optimum braking

pressure more quickly, thus reducing

the stopping distance.

Activation

It is triggered by the speed at which the
brake pedal is pressed.
The effect of this is a reduction in the

resistance of the pedal and an increase

in braking efﬁ ciency.

When braking in an emergency,

press ﬁ rmly without releasing

the pressure.

EMERGENCY OR ASSISTANCE
CALL

This system allows you to make an

emergency or assistance call to the

emergency services or to the dedicated

CITROËN service.

OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM

The green indicator lamp remains on (without ﬂ ashing) when

communication is established. It goes off at the end of communication.

This call is dealt with by the CITROËN Emergency team which receives
locating information from the vehicle and can send a detailed alert to the
appropriate emergency services. In countries in which the team is not
operational, or when the locating service has been expressly declined,

the call is dealt with directly by the emergency services (112) without

the vehicle location.

If an impact is detected by the airbag ECU, and independently
of the deployment of any airbags, an emergency call is made
automatically.

If the orange indicator lamp ﬂ ashes: there is

a system fault.
If the orange indicator lamp is on continuously:

the backup battery must be replaced.
In either case, contact a CITROËN dealer or

a qualiﬁ ed workshop.

SELECTING A DESTINATION

Press the NAV button again or select

the Navigation Menu function and

A pre-set list (by entering the ﬁ rst few letters) of the towns in the

country selected can be accessed via the LIST button on the virtual
keypad.

The list of the last 20 destinations appears under the Navigation

Menu function.

To clear a destination; from steps 1 to 3, select "Choose from last destinations".
A long press on one of the destinations displays a list of actions from which you can select:

Repeat steps 5 to 7 for the "Street"

and "House number" functions.

Turn the dial and select OK.

Select the "Save to address book" function to record the address

entered in a directory ﬁ le. Press the dial to conﬁ rm the selection.

MyWay allows up to 500 contact ﬁ les to be recorded.

To speed up the process, the post code can be entered directly

after selecting the "Postal code" function.

Use the virtual keypad to enter the letters and digits.

Then select "Start route guidance"

and the press the dial to conﬁ rm.

During guidance, pressing the end

of the lighting stalk repeats the last

guidance instruction.

Map settings
You can zoom in/zoom out on the map using the dial.
It is possible to move the map or select its orientation via the short-

cut menu of the FULL SCREEN MAP.

Press MODE until the map is displayed full screen. Press the dial

then select "Map settings". Select "2.5D Map" or "2D Map" and in

the latter case, select "North Up" or "Heading Up".

Select the route type:
"Fast route", "Short route" or "Optimized route" and press the dial

to conﬁ rm.
It is also possible to select a destination via "Choose from address
book" or "Choose from last destinations".
