*Perform Verification TEST VER-2A.

**Check connectors - Clean / repair as necessary.

O2 SENSOR THAT YOU

ARE TESTING. 

NOTE: THE DRB IS 

ARE THE 1/2, 2/2

WITH THE DRB, 

STILL ACTUATING

WITH THE DRB, READ 

O2 SENSOR VOLTAGES 

NO 

STOP THE

THE O2 SENSOR 

THE 1/2, 2/2 O2 BETWEEN

ACTUATION TEST.

HEATER TEST.

SENSOR VOLTAGE(S).

0.4 AND 0.6 VOLT?

TEST PASSED.

YES

NOTE: THE O2 SENSOR 

NOTE: THE DRB IS 

VOLTAGE STAYING

STILL ACTUATING

BETWEEN 0.4V & 0.6V THE O2 

SENSOR 

INDICATES A PROBLEM

HEATER TEST.

WITH THAT SENSOR CKT

DISCONNECT THE 1/2, 

USING A VOLTMETER, 

CHECK FUSES OR 

2/2 O2 SENSOR 

MEASURE THE ASD

IS THE VOLTAGE

NO 

REPAIR THE OPEN 

HARNESS CONNECTOR.** 

RELAY OUTPUT CIRCUIT

ABOVE 10.0 VOLTS? 

ASD RELAY OUTPUT 

IN SENSOR CONNECTOR.

USING AN OHMMETER,

REPAIR THE OPEN 

MEASURE THE

GROUND CIRCUIT AND

IS THE RESISTANCE

BELOW 5.0 OHMS?

*Perform Verification TEST VER-2A.

**Check connectors - Clean / repair as necessary.

WITH THE DRB IN

STOP ALL TESTS. 

NTC-12A. 

SET ENGINE SPEED

SPEED 1400 RPM

IAC MOTOR IS 

TO 1400 RPM. 

100  RPM? 

OPERATING OK.
TEST PASSED.

NO 

WITH THE DRB, STOP 

INSPECT THE ENGINE 

IS THERE ANY

YES

REPAIR VACUUM 

ALL TESTS. FOR ANY VACUUM 

VACUUM 

LEAKS?  LEAK(S) AS 

LEAK(S). NECESSARY.*

NO 

TURN KEY OFF. 

DISCONNECT THE
