REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET

Removal

(1) Remove the license plate from the bracket.
(2) Remove the license plate bracket attaching

screws (Fig. 1).

(3) Remove the license plate bracket from the front

bumper fascia.

Installation

(1) Position the license plate bracket on the front

bumper fascia.

(2) Install the attaching screws.
(3) Install the license plate on the license plate

bracket.

FRONT TOE HOOK BRACKET

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the toe hook from the toe hook bracket.
(2) Open hood and disconnect the negative battery

cable remote terminal from the battery post.

(3) Hoist vehicle.
(4) Partially remove the front fascia to gain access

to the windshield/headlamp washer reservoir. Refer
to Group 23, Body for Removal and Installation pro-
cedures.

(5) Remove the toe hook bracket mounting fasten-

ers.

(6) Remove the toe hook bracket (Fig. 2).

Installation

(1) Install the front toe hook bracket and fasten-

ers. Torque bolts to 23 to 34 N.m.

(2) Reinstall the front fascia as necessary. Refer to

Group 23, Body for Removal and Installation proce-
dures.

(3) Lower vehicle from the hoist.
(4) Install the toe hook into the toe hook bracket.
(5) Reconnect the negative battery cable at the

remote battery post.

REAR LICENSE PLATE BRACKET

Removal

(1) Remove the license plate from the bracket.
(2) Remove the license plate bracket attaching

screws (Fig. 3).

(3) Remove the license plate bracket from the rear

bumper fascia.

Installation

(1) Position the license plate bracket on the rear

bumper fascia.

(2) Install the attaching screws.
(3) Install the license plate on the license plate

bracket.
