Impact and delayed response during
Possible cause
shifting from N to R position.
When the engine is idly running and the gear
lever is shifted from N to R position, there is
abnormal impact and delayed response for over
2 seconds. The reason is possibly abnormal
pressure of reverse clutch or underdrive bra
or troubles in reverse clutch, low/reverse brake,
body valve or idle spee

Check reverse clutch and low/reverse
brake assembly
Dismantle gearbox assembly, valve body
cover and valve body
When compressed air passes through the
oil vents of reverse clutch and
low/reverse brakes in the gearbox, the
piston shall be actuated and maintain its
pressure.
Check the idle speed position

Check the underdrive clutch and reverse
brake
Check if there are any surface burns,
damages of piston seals and interference
by the jacket
Disassemble, clean and reassemble
the valve body
Pay special attention to loosened
bolts, damaged O-rings, valve and
valve body
Replace the valve assembly in the
case of damage that can’t be
repaired
