Section 26 Air Mix Damper Motor   

Remove the air mix damper motor 

Step 1 Remove the right storage box assy. (See Disassembly of Water Temperature Sensor) 

Step 2 Loosen the harness plug on the air mix damper, and remove the connecting rod.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3 Loosen the three fixing bolts on the air mix damper, and detach the motor.

Install the air mix damper motor 

Install the air mix damper in the reverse order of removal.

Section 27 Inside/Outside Recirculating Damper Motors 

Remove the inside/outside recirculating damper motor 

Step 1 Remove the right storage box assy. 

Step 2 Loosen the harness plug on the motor, and remove the connecting rod.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3 Loosen the three bolts on the motor, and detach the motor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Install the inside/outside recirculating damper motor 

Install the air mix damper in the reverse order of removal. 

Mode Damper Motor 

Remove the mode control motor 

Step  1  Remove  the  bolts  on  the  lower  pedal  of  left  instrument  console.  (See  Disassembly  of 

Instrument Console)

 

Step 2 Loosen the two fixing bolts. (See Disassembly of Instrument Console) 

Step 3 Forcefully pull out the trim panel outwards, and take care its position. (See Disassembly of

Step 4 Loosen the engine lock control cable. (See Disassembly of Instrument Console) 

Step 5 Loosen the harness plug on the motor, and remove the connecting rod.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6 Loosen the three fixing bolts on the wind direction motor, and remove the motor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Install the mode control motor 

Install the mode control motor in the reverse order of removal.
